Understanding Color Temperature

Color temperature, measured in Kelvins (K), refers to the hue of light emitted by a light source. It ranges from warm (yellowish) tones at lower temperatures to cool (bluish) tones at higher temperatures. For art galleries, a color temperature of 3000K to 3500K is generally recommended, as it offers accurate color rendering and a pleasant atmosphere.

The Stand OUT! kit has a strand of LEDs (3000k) designed to be used on guitar stands that have a lower AND upper supports.

That’s right, the adjustable ones. There is enough cable to accommodate tall neck support settings and if you like it lower for your favorite instrument, the wires can be looped around the vertical support and tucked away.

Will The Stand OUT! kit fit on my stand?

You will need a particular type of stand for The Stand OUT! kit to fit properly. There are several different brands of stands that The Stand OUT!  kit will fit (Gator, Fender, ProLine, etc.).  The kit is specifically designed to fit on a stand that has BOTH (1) lower support and (2) upper, neck support.  This allows the LEDs to beautifully illuminate your instrument in a way that was impossible before now!  If you need to buy a new stand, I recommend one of the two stands listed below. The shields and gaskets were designed based around the post dimensions of the below stands.
