How to Install the Stand OUT!

Check out the video in the "How do I install....".  It will show you some tricks to get those shields nice and snug!

Support your local music store!  But… if you must…

Here are some awesome quality guitar stands that we recommend: 

ProLine GS2

Gator GFW-GTR-1000

The shields that come in the kit are designed to fit the above stands.  The plastic inserted gasket is needed for the Gator.  The key is:  The Stand OUT! is designed to work on most stands that have BOTH a lower support AND an upper neck support.

The main shield and gasket are designed to fit most newer ProLine GS-2 and Gator GFW-GTR-1000 stands.  The diameter of some stands can vary slightly on the same stand.  If needed, the tape can be wrapped to help create an extra gasket / spacer for the shield to fit onto.

The kit comes with AC power and a battery pack for those time where you run out of space on your power strip.  When the battery pack is in the "ON" position, even with the LEDs "OFF", it will still drain your batteries due to the wireless receiver looking for a signal to turn on.

The Stand OUT! is dimmable! And has multiple "modes" and speeds which the lights can change.  However, it is only a warm white light.  The MotherShip! is a full stand (not a kit) that will have colored LEDs, be app capable and the coolest thing since.... The Stand OUT!
Yes, it is safe!  The foam supports used with The Stand OUT! kit are designed to be soft and supportive of your instrument and will not harm the finish.
The shields are made of plastic with rounded edges but as with anything else, take care when cradling the instrument.

The kit is designed to be portable but the components are not glued on so it is possible that the shields and other pieces can get knocked off.  

I will try to get orders out the next business day but it is possible that, on occasion, it may be two business days before I can get them shipped.

First, try a different outlet.  If that doesn't help, try the battery pack with new batteries and make sure the battery switch is in the on position. If that doesn't help, make sure the remote's battery is working.  If none of these get you taken care of, email info@instrumentlightingsystems   

the entire kit is less than one pound and fits in a 9"x6"x3" box.

Yes! The kit will work with most any stand that utilizes an upper AND lower support combination.  Like a ProLine GS-2 or a Gator GFW-GTR-100 style stands.

The Stand OUT! kit has a strand of LEDs (3000k) designed to be used on guitar stands that have a lower AND upper supports.

That’s right, the adjustable ones. There is enough cable to accommodate tall neck support settings and if you like it lower for your favorite instrument, the wires can be looped around the vertical support and tucked away.
